What to Expect on Your Cabo Whale Watching Tour

Your 2.5-hour whale watching tour begins with a scenic cruise past Cabo’s most iconic landmarks, including the sea lion colony, Pelican Rock, Lover’s Beach, and the Land’s End Arch, where you will stop for photos.

Your captain will choose to explore either the Pacific Ocean or the Sea of Cortez based on conditions and where whales are most active. Our RABEN-certified captains specialize in safe and responsible whale watching, positioning the boat for the best possible views.

Throughout the tour, our marine biologists and naturalists explain whale behavior, migration patterns, and communication, along with details about the species commonly seen in Los Cabos. You will also learn about Cabo Whale's conservation and research efforts across Baja California Sur.

Professional hydrophones allow you to hear live whale songs beneath the surface, a moment many guests consider a highlight of the trip.

A wildlife photographer is onboard to capture the encounter. After returning to the Marina, you can browse and purchase your tour photos and souvenirs before wrapping up your adventure.
